Julie's recent collaboration with the renowned immersive incubation hub kanvas has sparked much attention in the area of music and art. She has been instrumental in coaching supporting and delivering an eclectic portfolio of original compositions which have been carefully crafted around the personalities of four young individuals who are based in Dubai. The individuals are naturally very talented in their way and have worked on using their ideas to showcase to audiences across the city. This a testimony to kanvas and TheVocalpod in securing the ambitions of these young individuals who will no doubt go on to secure more performances in the future.

Yellow there! It's been a while since our last update, and my, what a journey it has been! We've spent this year immersed in the creation, development, and production of original content, crafted to captivate your senses. We're thrilled to announce the upcoming debut of our incredibly talented artists, whose musical talents are bound to reach new heights.
Behind the scenes, the team at TVP has been hard at work, meticulously crafting our very first showcase, set to debut later this year. The dedication and creativity poured into this endeavor are truly awe-inspiring. In collaboration with KANVAS, we've been given the opportunity to present our artists' creations to a select audience, and for that, we are immensely grateful. Thanks to the generosity of the KANVAS team, we're exploring innovative ways to celebrate the fusion of music and art. We feel truly blessed by this opportunity. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

If there was ever a time where you get an opportunity to shine it would be now. TVP are proud to share these incredible moments with you, our future stars of this generation. Olivia, Keziah and Burt are a force to be reckoned with their outstanding performance recitals at Safa Community School Dubai. They have been inundated with curriculum work, but have not stopped at harnessing their natural talent to produce strong performances in line with their current GCSE music subjects. We are proud and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Well, that said, watch this space as they venture onto new projects produced by the team TVP. The team have been working creatively with some exciting and innovative talent (entertainment at its finest) who are taking steps to re-inventing the wheel. WE ARE NUMBER 1!!! IKO IKO HITS THE UAE

We did it! IKO IKO reaches number 1 in the UAE song stats for the first time ever! We are overjoyed with the news and want to thank everyone in the UAE for their support and love for the music. JULIE E GORDON & CURL CARTEL want to thank producer Mario Dreamers Inc for his work on the song and for Tibetania Records for releasing the song on all the digital platforms. It's been quite a journey and it's only up from here on. Watch this space for new music coming to TVP pages.
MA GRADUATE RELEASES FIRST ALBUM AFTER MOVING TO DUBAI

Music Performance alumnus has released her first album after moving to Dubai in 2019.
Julie E Gordon graduated from the University of Salford with a MA in Music Performance in 2019. Since then, Julie has moved to Dubai and produced, written, composed and performed her first album HOME.
After graduating Julie moved to the UAE for work, she said: “Moving to the UAE has to be one of the best decisions I’ve made this side of the 21st century. I moved here immediately after graduating in 2019. After experiencing the world through the lens of music, I felt compelled to take up an opportunity to work with local citizens here in Dubai.
“A very close friend of mine encouraged me to take a position as a Faculty in Applied media at a government-run educational institution. She had already been here from 2015 and she had already made clear that it was life-changing, and that the opportunities to grow as a creative in Dubai were vast. After completing my Masters in Music Performance, I applied for the role and was accepted. I was slightly anxious, after reading up about the rules and restrictions, I asked myself would it work? Well 2 years deep, I have to say, it’s been a journey, I’ve met some incredible people, mostly locals, but I feel I’m on an international stage, with a beautiful collective of people from around the world. I’m still learning more about myself each day I’m here, I’ll never look back.”
Julie’s background is in soul, jazz and gospel; however, she specializes in Neo soul and the blues. She uses her experiences from live performances to produce a collection of music with influences from EDM, drum and bass and soulful house.
She has found that one of her favorite things about living and working in Dubai is having creative freedom and being able to work independently. Julie said: “I have produced, written, composed, performed and mastered my current album HOME. This is such an achievement. Since working as an academic, I was driven to harness my skills and personal experiences from the UK to focus on my creative endeavours here in the UAE, which I continue to do. The opportunities are such that you are encouraged to work hard to achieve your desired goals. My faith has played an instrumental part in this.”
The musician who was originally from Dudley, has collaborated with bands across the UK and internationally. In 2010 Julie released her first EP “Deep Inside” with producer Zamali under 'Timewarp Music' and toured with Happy Monday’s singer Shaun Ryder and his band SWR in 2011.

What a WEEK!!!!! Absolutely amazing week and the FUTURE VOICE CHOIR are on a HIGH NOTE! The week was a success; we are now doing the finishing touches on the songs they performed. They sound amazing, and TVP is super proud of all their efforts and hard work! Well done girls!

Future voices choir camp has got off to a great start! With its members, we are set to take the sandy city by storm. Hey there! So the weekend was filled with excitement for the release of TVP's first release IKO IKO. Thanks to everyone for sharing and downloading the track, but we want to thank the BEAT UAE 97.8 FM team for inviting us to their show. We had such a great time, and the girls' CURL CARTEL certainly came with the sparkle and almost ended up taking over. We are forever grateful for all the support we have been receiving. The wait is finally over! TVP's first official single release through record label TIBETANIA RECORDS with vocalists Julie E Gordon and rising stars CURL CARTEL who are featured in TheVocalPod Kids. The track titled IKO IKO was produced by Mario Dreamers Inc, a renowned producer and DJ from Greece well known for his deep soulful house and techno sounds. The single will be available on all digital platforms. TVP will keep you posted on all updates!
